| DJ Harmony (aka Cheryl Petersen) is a native of Denton, Texas who now makes her home in Jacksonville, Florida. She got her start as a DJ in 1996 by accident when friends asked if she would provide the music for their party. The bug bit her and she has been a professional DJ ever since! It's no surprise that DJ Harmony became an entertainer. Her father is the well-known jazz guitarist, Jack Petersen. Her brother, Scott Petersen, is better known as down tempo DJ Catharsis and is one half of the duo PC Synergy. As a child, Cheryl studied piano and violin, but found her passion for performing in Community Theater. In addition to spinning tunes, Cheryl has performed with the First Coast Chorus. When she's not providing great music for your special event, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, miniature schnauzer, and exploring America's amusement parks for the best frozen yogurt!
